Acrylic ornaments are clear, light and nearly unbreakable, which makes them a good pick for homes with toddlers, cats or a very full tree. The photo is printed on the back of the acrylic so it shows through the front with a glass-like shine, and the clear edges let tree lights glow around the picture.
Because the material is transparent, cut-out shapes work well here: a photo trimmed to a circle inside a star, a snowflake outline around a pet portrait, or a simple rectangle that looks like a tiny framed print. Names and dates are printed in white or a dark ink so they stay readable against the photo.
Acrylic is our lightest ornament, so it also works on a rear-view mirror, a wreath, a gift tag or a window hook. The included ribbon is thin enough for small branches.
To get the best print, upload a photo where the subject fills most of the frame; clear material does not hide a busy background the way a white ceramic disc does.
